Shazam!!!

It's a snow day, which means the kids and husband have been home all day and the house is now a national disaster area. It's been awhile since I've blogged because I've been in a "special mood" because of the book I'm working on right now. I didn't want to bring you all down and contribute to the national depression rate. I've locked myself in my cave the last couple of weeks, and I've been beating my head against the wall, growling at those who come into my path (Congrats to those lucky ducks). But things are all good now, and I feel like I can stop hiding and roam among society once again.

I did manage to get out of the house for Kay Thomas's booksigning last Saturday. Her debut novel, BETTER THAN BULLETPROOF, hit the shelves this January. I suggest all of you go out and get a copy. It's a great suspense read. I got to hang out with my writer pals, watch the stack of Kay's book dwindle to zero and partake of cake. I like cake. Congrats, Kay!

I rejoined word wars with my pals Jaye and Mark because they were very sad without me. I bring sparkle and sunshine everywhere I go--unless I'm in bad writer mood. I missed the witty banter and inappopriate comments that get me through the day, so I won't be forsaking them again.

You guys head over to Jaye's Blahg where she's giving away a signed copy of BETTER THAN BULLETPROOF.

I have to go and watch Lie To Me, which I am loving so far.

We'll it's about damn time you got a little Shazam! back. Was beginning to worry for a while, but I new you'd pull it thru, Hope the kids had fun in their own little wintry wonderland (it's always magical to them) Remember when...I do, but of course It involved mother doing doughnuts in the parking lots too...lol or sliding around in cardboard boxes at the tennis courts or in the front yard. Wherever it was at, it was always magical and special.

Now she does unintentional donuts and runs people off the roads. Ahh, how times change.
