Peer Pressure

This is a thing going around on Facebook. People pass it around, and it takes up time out of your day. Which means I love it. I stole the idea about pasting it to my blog from Dean Lorey. As usual, you're the man, Dean.

So here's my list of useless facts that most of you probably don't care to know about me.

1.) I have a Coke first thing every morning instead of coffee.

2.) I try to read at least one book a day, sometimes two or three if I have a free day. Reading is one of my greatest pleasures.

3.) I never had aspirations of being a career woman when I was growing up. All I ever wanted was to have a large family, be a stay at home mom and be a good wife. I know, I was born in the wrong decade.

4.) My husband is my best friend. I never get tired of hanging out with him.

5.) I started writing my first book when I was eighteen.

6.) I didn't complete my first book until I was twenty-five, but I've written ten books since then, and I'm only twenty-eight.

7.) I love being a writer. It gives me an excuse to have all the crazy people inside my head.

8.) I could eat macaroni and cheese every day. I love it!

9.) I'm very slow to make new friends. I'm mostly a solitary person, so it usually takes me a while to warm up to someone.

10.) I love my family more than anything in the world. I never could have imagined what a joy my children are.

11.) I met my husband when I was 14. We were high school sweethearts.

12.) I love to travel. I'm perfectly content to wake up on random mornings and say, "Let's go here today." There are still so many places I'd love to see.

13.) I spent a month in Ireland when I was in college.

14.) I hated high school. If I could go back and do it over I'd try to graduate early and get the heck out of there.

15.) I've gotten pregnant twice while on birth control pills.

16.) I performed at Carnegie Hall when I was in college.

17.) I spent four years in college majoring in Percussion. It is now completely useless since I'm writing books full time, but it does give me an advantage when playing Rock Band.

18.) I'm addicted to all the dinky Yahoo games and can spend hours assembling cartoonish burgers or pretending I'm waiting tables.

19.) The cleanest place I've ever been is Switzerland.

20.) I got married in Las Vegas and don't regret one minute of it.

21.) Purple is my favorite color.

22.) My guiltiest pleasure is watching iCarly with my kids. I love that show.

23.) I've had impacted wisdom teeth for years, but I can't seem to stop getting pregnant long enough to get them taken out.

24.) It's my secret dream to have laser hair removal and never have to shave again.

25.) I love to sit down in the shower.
