We're back from San Antonio, and I'm exhausted. It always seems a little strange that people take trips to relax and get away from the stress, but by the time you get back home you're no more rested than when you left. I spent four days basking in the eighty degree weather of South Texas, hanging out by the River Walk and getting a ton of writing done while my husband cavorted about the Music Educator's Convention learning stuff. Food was plentiful and the company enjoyable. It's not often we get to got somewhere without the kids, so we tried to take every advantage possible while away.
Oh, well. I'm back home and facing reality, which includes laundry and more revisions of the book that has to be sent back to my agent this week. I have a lot left to do, so maybe the laundry can wait for awhile. The hubs is out for the afternoon, two of the kids are taking naps and the other is watching Mary Poppins. I'd better take advantage of the peace and quiet while it lasts.
