So close...

I'm in the end days of my current WIP. The plan is to have the whole thing finished by a week from Sunday. The potential problem is that next week is Spring Break and the husband and kids will all be underfoot. I know they can survive without me. They've done it before. The problem is that the kids will hunt me down in another room to ask questions that their dad is perfectly capable of answering. And probably they'll all get tired of ordering pizza or making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches next week, but I've learned that kids are pretty resilient about such things.

In other news, we're getting closer to the Dreamin' in Dallas Conference the first weekend of April. If you've never been to a writer's conference, this is the one to choose. There are tons of great workshops that will benefit writers of any genre, and six industry professionals will be taking editor/agent appointments. Not to mention if you're a reader, there's a booksigning with more than thirty authors. The cut-off date is coming soon, and there are a few agent/editor appointments left. You can check it out at www.dallasromanceauthors.com/conferences .

I've been buried in the writer's cave for the last couple of weeks and have no idea what's going on outside the walls of my house. Let me know if I've missed any major events.
